The firm handles a portfolio spanning commercial, residential, and institutional projects and is seeking an Accounting Manager to join the team to support organizational growth.

Location: Minneapolis, MN. Hybrid: onsite 2-3 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Maintain general ledger accounts
• Prepare and analyze financial reports and variance analyses to support decision-making and provide insights to senior management
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors for annual audits, reviews, and tax filings
• Identify opportunities for process improvements
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal controls
• Undertake special projects and ad-hoc analysis as assigned by leaders

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred
• 5+ years of experience, preferably in a construction or professional services firm
