OSI Systems is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join their team. This individual will perform various day-to-day General Ledger accounting functions, reconciliation, and reporting activities.

Overview

OSI Systems, Inc. has three operating divisions: (a) Security, providing security and inspection systems, turnkey security screening solutions and related services; (b) Healthcare, providing patient monitoring, diagnostic cardiology and anesthesia systems; and (c) Optoelectronics and Manufacturing, providing specialized electronic components and electronic manufacturing services for original equipment manufacturers with applications in the defense, aerospace, medical and industrial markets, among others.

Responsibilities

  • Perform General Ledger and Fixed Assets Accounting responsibilities.
  • Perform monthly Reconciliations for Balance Sheet and P&L items.
  • Perform monthly intercompany reconciliations, reconcile banks, Fixed Assets, Analyze/reconcile all Accounts Payable Accounts; research and address problem issues.
  • Work with cross entities staff such as AR/AP/Cost Accounting/Treasury/Shared Services/Audit(internal/external) to close monthly financials. Calling Vendors to confirm banking information.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required. AS degree in Accounting desired.
  • Experience with computer systems as well as PC’s required.
  • Excellent communication including oral and written skills required.
  • D365, Navision or other OLAP skills are a plus.
  • Strong data management skills desired.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
