Job Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver complex requirements to meet business goals.
Ensure software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.
Design solutions with maintainability, ease of integration, and testing in mind.
Apply strong knowledge of development and testing practices, architectural patterns, and design principles.
LOB Specific Summary:
Plexus is a Quartz-based collateral management system providing straight-through processing of securities pledging data across multiple LOBs & entities, covering the firm’s margin calls, collateral eligibility validation, pledge and recall bookings, and regulatory reporting.
GMI Next Gen initiative aims to upgrade existing GMI technology systems to industry standards, supporting risk management, margin rules, P&L calculations, portfolio management, and trade validation.
We are seeking a senior software engineer to work in the Global Markets Technology division, collaborating with global teams to define requirements, design, develop, implement, and support key applications.
Responsibilities:
Code solutions and perform unit testing per acceptance criteria and compliance standards.
Design, develop, and modify architecture components, interfaces, and enablers.
Mentor team members on CI/CD practices and automation tools.
Refine stories, define requirements, and estimate work.
Perform proof of concept and risk mitigation activities.
Automate release activities and develop automated test suites.
Support development, testing, and delivery of software.
Collaborate with multi-regional teams using Agile practices.
Participate in design, development, testing, support, and documentation.
Required Qualifications:
Deep experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP), API design, MS SQL Server TSQL, SSIS, SSRS, Git/Bitbucket, Autosys, .NET Framework 4.5+/ .NET Core, Python, REST APIs, Angular, JavaScript, ASP.Net MVC.
