A leading law firm is seeking an Attorney Recruiting Coordinator to join its Talent Department in the New York office. Responsibilities

Summer Program

  • Assist in planning and executing the firm's summer associate program, including orientation, events, arrival and departure logistics, and evaluation processes.

  • Coordinate end-of-summer wrap-up activities and feedback collection.
Law Student Recruiting
  • Partner with law school career services and faculty to strengthen the firm's on-campus presence.

  • Support the on-campus interview (OCI) and callback process, including scheduling, candidate communication, and interview coordination.

  • Organize campus outreach efforts, networking events, and offer receptions.

  • Maintain recruiting records, reports, and statistics to support data-driven hiring strategies.

  • Collaborate with the attorney recruiting team and hiring committee on overall recruiting initiatives and strategy implementation.
Lateral, Entry-Level, Staff Attorney & Judicial Clerk Hiring
  • Support the recruitment and integration of lateral attorneys, judicial clerks, and entry-level associates.

  • Manage interview logistics, candidate communication, and post-interview feedback collection.

  • Post open positions and maintain applicant information in the firm's applicant tracking system.

  • Assist with offer processes, reference checks, and pre-employment onboarding.

  • Serve as a liaison between new hires and internal departments to ensure a smooth transition.

  • Prepare and maintain recruiting metrics, reports, and documentation.
Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum of 2 years of attorney recruiting experience in a law firm, professional services, or corporate environment.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Windows operating systems; experience with viDesktop or similar recruiting platforms a plus.

  • Strong understanding of recruiting principles, compliance, and best practices in a professional setting.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines with attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment in handling confidential information.

  • Proven ability to problem-solve, set goals, and deliver results independently and as part of a team.

  • Flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications).
