• Location: Telok Ayer • Working hours: 07:00 to 16:30 (Monday to Friday) • Follow Japan Calendar/PHs (more than Singapore PHs) • Bonuses provided Execution Trader (Buyside, Japanese Speaking) An established buy-side firm is seeking a reliable candidate to support the Head of Trading and the Head of Investment Operations (Public Markets). Job responsibilities: Handle trade execution of global equities (mainly Asia Pacific equities) and derivatives (e.g. swap, index futures and options) on a daily basis via Algorithmic Trading, Direct Market Access and High-Touch Trading; Execute trades across multiple asset classes based on investment strategies and instructions from Portfolio Managers. Implement stringent and efficient trade execution discipline and risk management methods in execution processes Assist in developing customized VBA macros for each fund to automate the trade placing process Assist in project management of fund/managed account launches Interaction with a wide range of service providers including but not limited to Prime Brokers, Custodians, Trustees, Executing Brokers, Fund Administrators Ad-hoc duties and short-term projects as assigned by management Job requirements: 3-4 years relevant experience in trade execution Business Japanese required to communicate with stakeholders Strong familiarity with investment products (highly preferred) Willing to work in accordance to the Japanese calendar Working hours are Mon – Fri 7am to 4.30pm Relevant studies, for example: accounting, finance, statistics, and or business Excellent analytical skills Ability to multi-task & work under pressure Detail-oriented, organized, meticulous and number savvy Strong work ethic and professional habits MS Office skills (especially Excel) Knowledge in VBA (strongly preferred) Self-starter / Self-learner Works well in a small team and good team player Interested applicants, please send your resume to
