Job Description
Build your emergency medicine (EM) career in a premier location! Join TeamHealth in a community-centered hospital and emergency department (ED) in northern New Jersey. This full-time (FT) or part-time (PT) nocturnist role is based in a dynamic ED in the New York metro area. At Chilton Medical Center, you will care for approximately 40,000 patients annually in a newly-renovated, 20-bed ED that includes a 9-bed fast track. Enjoy the flexibility of practicing as an independent contractor, with critical care coverage and intensivists available 24/7 for ICU. Floor codes are managed by house physicians and hospitalists—so you never have to leave the ED. Laborists and anesthesia are also available in-house around the clock. Chilton Medical Center, part of the Atlantic Health System, is recognized as a Stroke Elite Plus Center by The Joint Commission and was the first hospital in New Jersey to achieve Pathway to Excellence designation by the American Nurses' Credentialing Center. In 2020, it earned Magnet designation and has been ranked the top mid-sized hospital in New Jersey for seven consecutive years. The hospital also holds the Leapfrog Group "A" Hospital Safety Grade, ensuring a safe practice environment.
