is seeking a versatile and experienced
Multimodality Technologist
to perform diagnostic imaging procedures across multiple modalities, such as X-ray, CT, MRI, or ultrasound. This position requires technical expertise, flexibility, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality imaging and patient care.
Job Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in two or more modalities based on departmental needs and credentials (e.g., X-ray and CT, or MRI and Ultrasound). Prepare patients for procedures, verify identity, explain exams, and answer questions to ensure comfort and safety. Set up, operate, and adjust imaging equipment to acquire optimal images based on physician orders and clinical standards. Adhere to safety protocols, including radiation safety, infection control, and patient privacy regulations. Accurately document procedures, patient information, and technical factors in the PACS and electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Collaborate with radiologists and other care team members to ensure timely delivery of diagnostic results. Perform routine quality checks and preventive maintenance on imaging equipment, reporting malfunctions promptly.
Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree
in Radiologic Sciences or related field. Current ARRT certification
in Radiography required; additional ARRT or ARDMS certifications (e.g., CT, MRI, Sonography) preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience
in at least two imaging modalities. State licensure as required by practice location. Proficient with PACS and EMR systems and knowledgeable of cross-sectional anatomy and modality-specific protocols. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and multitasking abilities.
