Responsibilities The Marketing Manager will manage key marketing responsibilities for residential developments including brand development and ongoing management, as well as marketing initiatives for the Related Rentals luxury portfolio of properties. This includes the lease-up marketing strategy for 400 Lake Shore, Related Midwest’s iconic new 635-unit luxury rental high rise currently under construction. The Marketing Manager will also take a leadership role in the strategy and execution of unique marketing plans on a per project basis. Ideal candidates will be confident, highly motivated team players with a strong background and interest in luxury real estate development and the ability to effectively communicate with others. Knowledge of the Chicago real estate market and key industry-specific marketing tools (including digital tools, renderings and floor plans) is preferred. Understanding of new media platforms and website content systems is also valuable. Essential Job Functions: Assistance on brand strategy for new properties, working with SVP of Marketing, Director of Leasing and development team. Work closely with the development and property management teams on execution of project specific marketing plans as needed including website, digital, social media, communications and collateral. Lead pre-development market research and data analysis to support marketing and leasing goals. Recommendation, selection, and management of agencies including brand, publicity and collateral specific, including renderings and models. Management of all brand collateral including renderings and floor plans. Oversee multi-channel marketing campaigns with a heavy emphasis on digital, manage agencies, budgets and timelines for each campaign. Management of leasing center set-up and execution. Assistance on development and execution of advertising creative, film and interactive. Ideate and assist with execution of activations, events and partnerships. Manage and track invoices and project specific budgets Weekly and monthly reporting Compensation The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible to receive discretionary bonus incentives and a comprehensive benefits package. Anticipated base salary range: $90,000 - $110,000 Actual base salary within the anticipated range will be determined by several components including, but not limited to, the individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and market factors. Qualifications 5-7 years of experience with luxury brands, real estate knowledge strongly preferred. Experience with concepting and executing all aspects of marketing programs from start to finish, including agency oversight and budget and timeline management. Strong project management skills. Self-starter – proactive, resourceful and flexible. Skilled collaborator who works effectively across multiple departments and external parties. Experience engaging with executive leadership. Comfortable working in a fast-paced high-performance environment. Strong verbal and visual presentation skills. A passion for technology, design, content, culture and hospitality. Expertise with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel. Bachelor’s Degree, or above.
