Python Developer

with expertise in

AI and Data Science

to lead the development of advanced data-driven solutions. You will work closely with data scientists, product managers, and engineers to design, implement, and optimize machine learning models and data pipelines that drive strategic decision-making. Additional Information* The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Weehawken, NJ is $120k - $140k/year & benefits (see below). The Role Responsibilities Develop, test, and deploy scalable AI and data science solutions using Python. Collaborate with data scientists to translate prototypes into robust production code. Design and maintain data models, pipelines, and ETL processes. Implement machine learning algorithms and deep learning models using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn. Optimize algorithms for performance and scalability. Conduct data analysis, visualization, and reporting to support insights and decision-making. Stay updated with the latest AI and Data Science trends and incorporate best practices into projects. Mentor junior team members and contribute to technical documentation and code reviews. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields. 5+ years of experience in Python development for AI and Data Science projects. Strong programming skills with Python and proficiency in libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras. Experience with data visualization tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly, or Tableau. Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL databases, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Solid understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and statistical methods. Experience building and deploying scalable data pipelines and RESTful APIs. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment. Preferred, but not required: Experience with big data tools like Spark or Hadoop. Knowledge of MLOps, CI/CD, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Publications or contributions to open-source AI/Data Science projects.
