Description Product Manager IV
Responsible for ensuring assigned product(s) are relevant, properly sold, and managed to provide a positive customer experience, focusing on sound infrastructure and integrity levels. This role includes managing product lifecycle activities such as market research, financial analysis, product planning, development, and implementation, along with coordinating sales and marketing strategies. Key components include product profitability, risk mitigation, performance evaluation, and measurement of results. The Product Manager serves as a subject matter expert for the product suite.
Position Responsibilities:
Roadmap Management
Serve as a market expert for assigned product(s) through research, discovery, validation, customer interactions, and presentations. Define market problems by analyzing market data, customer feedback, competition, and performing SWOT and technology assessments. Develop solutions via strategic planning, including product roadmaps, business plans, profitability and pricing assessments, and understanding customer needs and use scenarios. Manage product lifecycle, monitor performance, and recommend strategies to improve profitability and customer retention. Define, measure, and manage product risks; communicate success metrics. Product Promotion/Advocacy
Create and own the product's market messaging; participate in marketing and advertising development. Develop and deliver training materials and classes. Conduct interviews with customers and prospects to monitor trends and acceptance. Portfolio and Revenue Management
Evaluate economic conditions and advise management on impacts to products. Ensure profitability and competitive positioning; integrate products into sales planning and profit planning. Develop pricing strategies aligned with product objectives. Product Initiatives
Research and define market problems; explore market opportunities and evaluate new product ideas. Validate market problems through customer interactions. Establish criteria for testing new and existing products; review workflows. Partner with Operations to ensure product stability and efficient issue resolution processes. Review customer feedback and suggestions related to assigned products.
