Property Loss Control Analyst

This role involves reviewing underwriting submissions, including carrier and third-party engineering reports, primarily for our Middle Market Team. Key occupancies include hospitality, public entities, healthcare, retail, communications, warehousing, and industrial & manufacturing. The position is remote with less than 10% travel. Occasional visits to nearby offices may be required. The responsibilities include: Desktop reviews of underwriting submissions, engineering reports, and COPE data. Conducting phone surveys for prospective accounts. Reviewing building and sprinkler protection plans. Providing guidance to underwriting staff on risk quality and insurability. Quoting inspections and jurisdictional services as needed. Performing local property loss control site surveys when necessary. Qualifications: Knowledge of sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, process hazards, and property loss control issues is preferred. Technical knowledge of loss prevention codes (NFPA, FM, API, ASME, etc.) and industry standards is preferred. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with underwriters, managing multiple tasks. Strong communication, writing, organizational, customer service, public speaking, and time management skills. Minimum of 2 years experience in property loss control or as an in-house desktop reviewer in insurance, consulting, or brokerage firms.
