CC&B Functional Tester Job at Tata Consultancy Services in Oakland

Job Description We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Functional Tester with hands-on experience in Oracle CC&B (Customer Care and Billing) to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in functional testing processes, utilities domain knowledge, and experience working with Oracle CC&B systems, including testing of workflows, business processes, and integrations. Base pay range : $75,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr Responsibilities Understand business requirements and functional specifications related to Oracle CC&B. Design, develop, and execute test cases based on functional requirements. Perform end-to-end functional testing of CC&B modules including Customer Management, Billing, Payments, Credit & Collections, and Metering. Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or similar. Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality delivery. Participate in requirement walkthroughs and test plan reviews. Perform regression testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT) support. Validate data flows, batch jobs, and third-party integrations. Ensure traceability of test cases to business requirements. Report and escalate risks or issues in a timely manner.
