Job Summary
Highly skilled bioinformatics analyst with expertise in scRNA-seq, bulk RNA-seq analysis, spatial transcriptomics, and multi-omics integration in cancer genomics.
Responsibilities
Develop reproducible pipelines for differential expression, pathway enrichment, and immune deconvolution, supporting cancer biomarker discovery and drug response analysis. Proficiency in Python (pandas, TensorFlow, MATLAB), R, and SQL (including query optimization and indexing) is required, along with experience in data cleaning, signal preprocessing, and feature extraction, with emphasis on maximizing data fidelity and algorithmic efficiency.
Design and maintain robust ETL frameworks (Pentaho, Airflow) and deploy solutions on cloud platforms (GCP, Docker, BigQuery), ensuring secure data integration and role-based access control.
Track data lifecycle from collection and preprocessing to feature engineering, model development, training, evaluation, deployment, and the integration of interactive dashboards into unified front-end platforms.

Educational Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree; 3 years of experience in data analytics, information systems, and/or institutional research in higher education.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to use sound judgement and work independently.
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases.
Shift / Salary / Benefits
Shift: Days/M-F (work outside of the normal business hours may be required of an exempt position).
Pay Band: B12
Salary Range: $62,300.00/year – $72,000/year; salary commensurate with qualifications within the established range.
Recruitment Period: 10/9/25 – Until Filled
