Job Description We are seeking a hands-on Hardware Engineer with a strong background in wearable or IoT hardware systems, particularly in evaluating and integrating custom chips. Job Title: Senior Hardware Engineer Job Description We are seeking a hands-on Hardware Engineer with a strong background in wearable or IoT hardware systems, particularly in evaluating and integrating custom chips. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and enjoys working directly with cutting-edge technology. You will focus on developing, testing, and validating reference hardware platforms that incorporate proprietary Wi-R chips, including smartglasses, earbuds, smartwatches, EEG/EMG nodes, smartphones, heart rate monitors, and smartrings, ensuring they are customer-ready. Responsibilities Develop and test systems built around proprietary chips to ensure performance and reliability. Prepare hardware platforms for customer readiness, including debugging and validation. Conduct hands-on electrical engineering experiments to evaluate system behavior. Gather and analyze data to support performance tuning and issue resolution. Support customer needs directly, including troubleshooting and providing technical guidance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, research, and supply chain. Essential Skills 0-3 years of experience with extensive debugging and troubleshooting on PCBs. Experience with IC design. Strong fundamentals in Electrical Engineering, including analog and mixed signal design. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required; a Master’s degree is preferred. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ph.D. in biomedical engineering hardware, IC design, or similar fields is considered a plus. Expertise in analog, hardware, electrical engineering, electronics, troubleshooting, and validation. Work Environment This position requires daily onsite presence, working with a team of over 20 engineers from multiple disciplines. The environment fosters innovation within a growing startup and is centered around cutting-edge technology Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.
