Role & Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring top-tier talent across PTAG's service lines.
  • Workforce Planning: Collaborate with project managers and department leaders to understand resource needs, project timelines, and technical requirements. Maintain a proactive talent pipeline for current and future projects.
  • Mobilization Coordination: Support the mobilization of employees to project sites across North America and internationally, ensuring smooth transitions with respect to travel, accommodations, and onboarding logistics.
  • Immigration & Compliance: Assist with work permit and visa processes for employees relocating to or working in the USA and Canada. Ensure compliance with immigration and labor regulations.
  • Sourcing Strategy: Develop creative sourcing methods to attract high-quality candidates in the EPC, construction, and engineering sectors through online platforms, networking, and professional associations.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with hiring managers, HR, and project teams to deliver timely recruitment solutions. Provide updates and insights on hiring progress and talent availability.
  • Employer Branding: Collaborate with Marketing to promote PTAG's employer brand across social media, job boards, and industry events.
  • Recruitment Analytics: Track key recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness) and recommend process improvements.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and consultants to supplement internal sourcing when required

Qualifications / Requirements
To succeed in this role, you bring:
  • Experience: 4-6 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably within EPC, construction, or engineering consulting sectors.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR or recruitment certifications (e.g., SHRM, CIR) are an asset.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of project-based resourcing and familiarity with large-scale infrastructure, mining/minerals, oil & gas, power or nuclear energy project environments.
  • Mobilization Experience: Exposure to staff mobilization processes, immigration documentation, and compliance in Canada and/or the USA.
  • Technology Skills: Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and online recruitment platforms.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders and candidates.
  • Analytical Ability: Skilled in analyzing recruitment data and identifying trends to enhance hiring outcomes.
  • Professionalism: Proven ability to represent the organization at industry events, career fairs, and networking sessions.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites or recruitment events as needed.
