We are currently seeking a SWING SHIFT Clean Room Janitor to support our Concord, California location. This position is 3rd shift (3:00pm-11:30pm)
Position Summary:
The Cleanroom Janitor is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the cleanroom and controlled environments in compliance with company procedures and industry standards. This role ensures that production and research areas remain free of contaminants, supporting quality assurance and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of cleanrooms, gowning areas, and supporting spaces according to established protocols.
- Follow all cleanroom entry, gowning, and contamination control procedures.
- Clean and disinfect floors, walls, ceilings, equipment surfaces, and workstations using approved cleaning agents and tools.
- Remove and properly dispose of cleanroom waste, including classified or hazardous materials as directed.
- Monitor and restock cleanroom supplies such as wipes, gloves, gowns, and disinfectants.
- Maintain detailed cleaning logs and documentation or internal quality standards.
- Communicate any maintenance, safety, or contamination concerns to the Facilities or Quality team promptly.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as HEPA-filtered vacuums, mops, and other specialized tools.
- Assist in periodic deep-cleaning or shutdown cleaning operations.
- Support audits or inspections by providing accurate records and demonstrating proper procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Previous janitorial, sanitation, or housekeeping experience in a manufacturing, lab, or cleanroom environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and compliance.
- Ability to read and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety instructions.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow cleanroom gowning requirements.
- Experience in ISO Class 7 or 8 cleanrooms, or within pharmaceutical, semiconductor, aerospace, or medical device manufacturing.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 40 lbs for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in full cleanroom attire (gown, gloves, face mask, shoe covers, etc.).
- Ability to perform repetitive motions and work in controlled environmental conditions.

The hourly range for this position is $20.00- $23.00 per hour, including a shift differential.
