Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $130,000 to $140,000 per year. Job Responsibilities Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and proper classification. Supervise accounting staff to ensure timely and precise financial reporting. Maintain and update process documentation, identifying risks and implementing controls. Coordinate with internal and external auditors, providing support and documentation for audits and control testing. Oversee the preparation of financial reports in compliance with GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX 404b requirements. Requirements A minimum of 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public company or Big Four background. Strong technical accounting skills, including experience with revenue recognition and complex transactions. Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal control frameworks, especially SOX compliance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with financial reporting tools. Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration and support internal stakeholders effectively. Qualifications A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting; CPA certification is required. Experience in technical accounting research and drafting accounting memos. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights. Excellent communication and presentation skills for working with senior leadership. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and contribute to strategic financial planning.
