Overview
Cybersecurity Specialist at Booz Allen Hamilton. The opportunity focuses on analyzing policies, procedures, and requirements that determine cyber resilience for airborne networks, ground support systems, and system integration labs. You will review systems to identify security weaknesses, recommend improvements to mitigate risk, implement changes, and document modifications. You will translate security concepts to inform decision-making and guide the development of a strategic cyber roadmap to ensure secure operations in an evolving environment.
As an Information Assurance or Cybersecurity Specialist, you’ll identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate customer cybersecurity needs into secure and effective solutions, advise on new techniques, and guide the team through critical approaches to design, offering alternatives to balance security and operational needs.

You Have:
3+ years of experience with cybersecurity
Experience providing configuration management (CM) for information system security software, hardware, and firmware, coordinating changes with the Security Control Assessor (SCA) and Authorizing Official (AO)
Experience providing security guidance and IS validation using NIST RMF, DoD, and local security policies
Ability to manage security authorization activities
Ability to coordinate security requirements for connected and non-connected systems and unclassified and classified systems
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
IAT Level II Certification, including Security+ Certification
Nice If You Have:
5+ years of experience with cybersecurity
Bachelor's degree
DoD IAM or IAT Level III Certification
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification
Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
Compensation: At Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions and offer comprehensive benefits, including health, life, disability, financial, and retirement programs, paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work-life programs, and dependent care. Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours per week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. The posted compensation range is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). Salary is determined by factors including location, education, experience, and contract requirements. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
