Junior Cybersecurity Specialist Job at AERMOR in Panama City

Location: Panama City, FL Job Type: Full-Time Security Clearance: Secret AERMOR is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist I to support DoD, Department of the Navy (DoN), and NAVSEA Cybersecurity policies and compliance efforts. This role will assist in the Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assessment & Authorization (A&A) process, data submission in Navy eMASS, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards for IT systems and networks. Key Responsibilities: Assist in maintaining and reviewing A&A packages for RMF compliance. Support annual security reviews, accreditation processes, and security documentation. Work with Information System Security Officers (ISSOs) and System Administrators to ensure RMF compliance. Monitor Navy Vulnerability Remediation Asset Manager (VRAM) and CMRS for tracking security issues. Provide technical support for NMCI/NGEN and RDT&E network security incidents. Assist in classified network security verification in accordance with DoD and DoN policies. Participate in security-related meetings and provide insights into RMF process changes. Required Skills & Qualifications: Must possess SEC+ certification or equivalent. Minimum 2 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security administration. Knowledge of DoD RMF, A&A processes, and cybersecurity policies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe Pro. Familiarity with Navy-approved operating systems for workstations and servers. Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting DoD or Navy cybersecurity programs. Knowledge of Navy eMASS and VRAM for cybersecurity compliance tracking. Understanding of network security best practices and incident response protocols.
