Overview Cybersecurity Engineering Manager - Remote at Progressive Leasing. Progressive Leasing is a leading provider of in-store and e-commerce lease-to-own solutions. This role is a work-from-home position and can be performed remotely anywhere in the continental US or at our corporate location in Draper, Utah. Responsibilities Lead, manage, and mentor a team of cybersecurity engineers to safeguard the PROG enterprise. Oversee the deployment, integration, and maintenance of cybersecurity systems per best practices and business needs. Optimize systems to handle growth, maintain operations, and ensure consistent performance. Build systems documentation and transition systems to operational support teams. Partner with Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), Identity & Access Management (IAM), Application Security, and Security Operations teams to explore opportunities for integration, process improvement, and automation. Collaborate with IT, legal, and other business teams to align deliverables and goals. Build and maintain systems inventory and technology lifecycle planning. Work with cybersecurity architects to develop and maintain the cybersecurity technology roadmap. Establish and maintain the strategy, workplan, and financial forecasting for the cybersecurity engineering organization. Develop and maintain relationships with OEMs and partners of cybersecurity technologies. Stay updated on the latest threats and advancements in cybersecurity. Qualifications and Experience Strong leadership and team management skills with experience leading cybersecurity initiatives. Extensive hands-on technical background. Proficiency with security technologies and tools (SIEM, DLP, Email Security, Firewalls, IPS, Endpoint Security, and more) to support a defense-in-depth strategy. Proven track record in managing and delivering large-scale projects. Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks. Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with senior IT, legal, and business leaders. Ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects and objectives. Fast learner with attention to detail and results-oriented focus. Extensive knowledge of cybersecurity and regulatory compliance frameworks.
