Location: #LI-Remote GENERAL SUMMARY Responsible for managing and mitigating security risks across a network infrastructure and data centers. Designs and oversees security frameworks, leads incident response efforts, and mentors junior team members. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Evaluate, test, and recommend security solutions to protect networks and systems Implement security controls, such as firewalls and encryption, to protect networks and systems Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security risks Respond to security incidents and provide technical guidance to incident response teams Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies Collaborate with system administrators and developers to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of IT operations Train IT staff and other stakeholders on security best practices Maintain compliance with the knowledge requirements outlined on the department intranet site Other duties as assigned.
