This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering accurate and timely financial reporting. You will play a key role in monthly close processes, financial statement preparation, and account reconciliations. This is a full-time position based at our corporate office in Addison, TX, reporting to the Controller. The role requires on-site presence during regular business hours. Position Overview OrthoMed Anesthesia is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering accurate and timely financial reporting. You will play a key role in monthly close processes, financial statement preparation, and account reconciliations. This is a full-time position based at our corporate office in Addison, TX, reporting to the Controller. The role requires on-site presence during regular business hours. Key Responsibilities Work closely with the Controller and Treasury Analyst to perform daily tasks and ensure day-to-day responsibilities are completed in a timely manner Prepare and analyze monthly GAAP financial statements, including Statement of Cash Flows, Balance Sheet, and Profit & Loss with variance analysis Perform monthly reconciliations of key balance sheet accounts such as cash, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and other accruals Assist in the monthly close process, ensuring deadlines are met and financial data is accurate Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and support business operations Support external audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience Public accounting experience preferred Proficiency with NetSuite ERP system is required Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and experience preparing full financial statements Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA candidate a plus) Preferred Attributes Experience in a multi-entity or inter-company environment Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy At OrthoMed, you'll be part of a team dedicated to excellence in patient care.
