Req Number R6175 Employment Type Full time Worksite Flexibility Onsite Location Miramar, FL Job Summary We are looking for a motivated IT Business Analyst ready to take us to the next level. The role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and a deep understanding of both business processes and technology. This is a contract, onsite position in Miramar, FL. Due to specific legal and contractual requirements, this role will be direct employment with CAI and does not offer work authorization sponsorship now or in the future. What You’ll Do Create and maintain the product backlog, prioritize items, and drive the completion of Minimum Viable Products (MVPs). Evaluate delivery by agile teams to ensure high-quality features and functionality. Elicit detailed requirements, craft user stories with clear acceptance criteria, and support backlog refinement and prioritization. Facilitate collaboration among cross-functional teams, translating complex business concepts into technical specifications. Ensure project deliverables are well-understood, achievable, and aligned with sprint goals. Requirements Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. 3-5+ years of work experience as a Business Analyst in Software Engineering / IT or related area. Strong blend of analytical skills, effective communication, and understanding of both business processes and technology. Experience engaging with customers and prioritizing their needs in product development. Proficient in using tools and techniques to ensure product health, reliability, availability, and maintainability. Understanding of software product operations, install base, usage, and future plans in relation to product vision. Industry knowledge in Travel and Hospitality sector. Familiar with Agile and other iterative SDLC methodologies. Preferred Solid technology background in software development & platforms. Ability to lead and collaborate with people at all levels of IT and corporate organizations. Strong problem-solving and coordination skills across multiple stakeholders. Effective written and verbal communication; clear, articulate, and concise. Creative thinker with a strong understanding of agile practices and techniques. Organized, efficient, and detail-oriented. Physical Demands Ability to safely perform essential job functions in compliance with ADA and applicable laws. Sedentary work with occasional office movement for meetings. Ability to conduct repetitive computer tasks using a mouse, keyboard, and monitor. Compensation & Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00-$45.00 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access.
