PEPI Director, Operations Group – Aerospace, Defense, Aviation & Space (OPEN TO ALL U.S. LOCATIONS)
Alvarez & Marsal invites qualified leaders to join our Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) practice to deliver high‑impact transformation and operational improvement across the aerospace, defense, and aviation landscape.
Responsibilities
Lead large, complex client engagements by developing performance improvement plans and driving the process through to completion.
Synthesize insights from data, facts, and client discussions to craft strategic recommendations.
Work directly with clients to implement operational and strategic recommendations.
Apply hands‑on experience across cost transparency, margin management, pricing and product rationalization, sales and marketing effectiveness, supply chain, operations management, organizational structure, process improvement, SG&A cost reduction, and working capital.
Qualifications
U.S. citizenship required due to client requirements.
10+ years of relevant work experience.
Previous professional consulting or operations experience with a recognized strategy consulting firm is required.
Flexibility to travel up to 80 % of the time.
Depth in Aerospace, Defense, or Aviation is preferred.
Recent project leadership experience and experience working with private equity or PE relationships is a plus.
Benefits & Compensation Salary range: $150,000–$225,000 annually, dependent on several variables including education, experience, skills, and geography. A&M offers a discretionary bonus program based on individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.
