Role Target
At EFY, we are looking for a highly experienced Senior DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer to strengthen our cloud infrastructure and support our growing fintech platform. The ideal candidate will ensure scalable, reliable, and secure systems by leveraging best practices in automation, monitoring, CI/CD, and cloud-native solutions. This role requires a strong background in AWS, with
mandatory AWS certifications , and a proven track record in building and maintaining mission-critical infrastructure. \uD83D\uDCCC Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable infrastructure on AWS. Manage Kubernetes clusters, networking, storage, and scaling strategies. Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to accelerate and secure software delivery. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools. Define and enforce best practices for monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident response. Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and data protection requirements. Collaborate with backend, frontend, and product teams to support efficient development workflows. Optimize cloud costs and resource usage without compromising performance. Lead root-cause analysis and post-mortems for system incidents. Stay updated with the latest trends in cloud computing, DevOps practices, and fintech infrastructure. \uD83C\uDF93 Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. Equivalent experience may be considered in place of formal education for exceptional candidates. \uD83D\uDCBC Required Experience
8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure roles. Proven experience managing AWS-based production environments at scale. Experience working in fintech or other high-compliance, high-availability industries is a plus. Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken) are required to collaborate with international and cross-functional teams. \uD83D\uDCDA Specific Knowledge
Mandatory AWS certifications (Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional, or equivalent). Deep expertise in AWS core services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, ECS/EKS. Solid knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration. Familiarity with Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus. Strong understanding of cloud security principles, networking, and identity management. Experience with high-availability architectures, disaster recovery, and multi-region strategies. \uD83D\uDEE0️ Technical Skills
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK). Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar). Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or equivalent). Monitoring and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Datadog, New Relic). Strong Git workflows knowledge. Database infrastructure management (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, etc.). \uD83E\uDD1D Soft Skills
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work cross-functionally with development, product, and compliance teams. Clear and proactive communication in both technical and non-technical contexts. Strong ownership mindset with a focus on reliability and security.
