Job Title: Assembler
Pay: $23/hr
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled assembler to perform complex assembly tasks, including advanced mechanical assembly of components and subassemblies. The role requires an individual who can read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and specifications to ensure accurate assembly. The assembler will also perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics to resolve assembly issues and ensure product functionality.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and specifications for accurate component assembly.
Perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics to resolve assembly process issues.
Coach and train lower-level assemblers in techniques, safety procedures, and quality standards.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Recommend improvements to assembly processes for increased efficiency and reduced waste.
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other departments to resolve design or manufacturing issues.
Conduct final quality inspections and testing to ensure products meet company standards.
Maintain inventory of parts and materials, ensuring optimal stock levels.
Assist with setup, calibration, and operation of automated or semi-automated assembly equipment.
Follow lean manufacturing guidelines and provide continuous improvement suggestions.
Essential Skills
Experience working on an assembly line, particularly with mechanical assembly of small and large parts.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
Ability to read and interpret complex technical documents, including engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong knowledge of quality control processes and manufacturing best practices.
Bilingual - Spanish speaking.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
At least 3–5 years of experience in assembly or manufacturing roles, with leadership or team supervision experience.
Ability to train and mentor junior team members.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines without compromising quality.

Work Environment
This role is within an air-conditioned manufacturing facility featuring industry 4.0 technology. The position requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch as needed, and climb portable ladders. Use of personal protection equipment is required, and good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination are essential. The facility also provides electric charging stations.
