Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our compounding team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in both sterile and non-sterile environments, with a strong commitment to accuracy, cleanliness, and adherence to regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounded medications according to prescription orders, standard operating procedures and Montana and federal law. Maintain proper documentation in compliance with USP

regulations. Ensure cleanliness and aseptic conditions in sterile compounding areas (cleanroom, laminar flow hoods). Accurately weigh, measure, and mix ingredients using calibrated equipment. Package and label finished products with a high degree of precision. Assist in inventory control, ordering, and restocking of compounding supplies. Support pharmacists in daily operations and uphold a high standard of patient care and safety.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Montana Pharmacy Technician License in good standing (or ability to obtain before start date). National certification (CPhT). Previous experience in compounding (sterile and/or non-sterile) highly preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to aseptic technique. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Must be dependable, punctual, and a team player.
