APSI Construction Management invites a seasoned Electrical Construction Manager to lead modernization projects at the San Francisco VA Medical Center.

Key Responsibilities
Lead electrical construction for hospital, research, and laboratory facilities, including underground, high/low voltage, generators, grounding, and lighting systems.
Oversee specialized medical systems (MRI, CT, PET, sterilization) and low‑voltage networks (fire alarms, data, nurse call, access control, security, HVAC digital controls).
Review design documents, verify field accuracy, and coordinate with civil, structural, environmental, and architectural disciplines.
Ensure compliance with federal, VA, safety, environmental, and building codes.
Conduct field inspections, prepare cost estimates, technical reports, and change order documentation, and track project milestones.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management (ABET‑accredited) or current U.S. licensure to practice engineering.
Experience: 7–10 years in electrical engineering; minimum 5 years inspecting large, complex electrical construction projects (hospital or federal experience preferred).
Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of design documents, site conditions, and field modifications; strong problem‑solving for design and constructability issues.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication; proficiency in project documentation tools and software.
