Senior Test & Evaluation Data Operations Manager
Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. Anduril’s Test and Evaluation (T&E) team pursues a Data & Operations function to combine internal data analytics with operational processes and business systems to deliver prompt, accurate, and actionable insights. As a Data Operations Manager, you will collaborate with stakeholders and drive partnerships across Anduril to improve decision making, accelerate analysis, and optimize outcomes. Your work will increase organizational velocity by becoming an expert on critical workflows such as staffing and resources, test processes, telemetry analysis and visualization, product/test initiative performance, and operational sustainment. What You'll Do Lead the user-focused development of internal analytics dashboards and data-driven applications to surge real-time awareness and forecasts for the Test and disciplined engineering staff. Collaborate with Test Engineering and Business Operations & Analytics to learn workflows and maximize effectiveness of digital visualization tools. Partner with internal visualization and analytics teams to build data models and tooling to create the digital twin of Anduril’s operations. Own the deployment, training, and maintenance of the user-facing data stack; ensure it works for the organization. Continuously seek internal opportunities for improvement, map aggressive solutions, and lead through change to make solutions a reality. Become a trusted resource for Anduril leadership in helping them run their organizations more effectively. Automate the aggregation of metrics and detection of widespread trends or issues across the fleet. Build and maintain a catalog of data and tools to enable analysis of metrics across the fleet (operational performance analysis, historical trend analysis, root cause analysis, and predictive analysis). Onboard engineering and operational teams to these tools to democratize support of production systems. Apply performance baselines as rubrics for all new operational deployments and update site installation processes to measure success accordingly. Lead technical investigations about operational issues and performance trends and contribute to root cause analysis within engineering, supply chain, training, or other areas of the business. Qualifications
8+ years of experience in a consultative analyst role, data analytics, or a strong engineering background, with preferred fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, and Data Science. Experience building and leading a high-performing team. Proven success with new products/programs within aviation or aerospace-related industries. Motivation aligned with Anduril’s mission to solve big defense problems. Ability to thrive in cross-functional projects combining technical requirements and user-focused workflows. Experience with SQL, Python, TypeScript, or other programming languages, or willingness to learn quickly. Familiarity with data stack tools such as dbt, Redshift, Looker/Tableau, Palantir Foundry. Empathy for users and ability to see the world from their perspective. Drive to deliver impactful results and navigate ambiguous projects toward clear outcomes. Desire to learn best practices for programming and analytics tools while delivering products at high velocity. U.S. Persons status is required as this role needs access to export-controlled data. Ability to obtain and hold a U.S. Top Secret security clearance. Work Details
US Salary Range: $165,000—$200,000 USD Benefits
