Overview
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Associate Director of Medical Affairs to lead promotional and medical content review processes. This role is ideal for a PharmD or advanced science professional with deep knowledge of regulatory standards and a passion for advancing care in depression and neuropsychiatric disorders. Responsibilities
Serve as the lead Medical Reviewer/Approver for promotional and medical assets. Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial, Regulatory, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure strategic alignment and regulatory adherence. Provide expert guidance on review processes and best practices. Stay current on FDA, PhRMA, and industry regulations; support audits and compliance initiatives. Manage internal and external teams and vendors involved in medical content development. Support broader Medical Affairs initiatives, including alliance partnerships and strategic projects. Required Qualifications
PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent advanced degree in a scientific or medical field. 5 years of U.S. promotional and medical review experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Strong understanding of FDA regulations, medical content development, and review systems (e.g., Veeva Promomats). Ability to critically evaluate research design, data, and messaging for scientific accuracy and compliance. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset. About CRN
