As their US presence continues to expand, the firm is seeking a Quantitative Developer to join their growing technology and research team in Chicago. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of engineering, research, and trading, working closely with quantitative researchers and portfolio managers to design, implement, and optimize systems that power the firm’s systematic strategies. You will be involved in the full research and trading lifecycle, from model design and backtesting to live deployment and ongoing production monitoring. The environment is intentionally flat, technical, and collaborative. Developers are encouraged to introduce new tools, frameworks, and ideas that improve performance and research efficiency. The firm values open communication, clean and maintainable code, and a culture where developers, researchers, and PMs work side by side to solve complex problems. Key responsibilities include: Building and maintaining scalable research and trading infrastructure to support systematic strategies. Developing tools for data ingestion, simulation, and model implementation in Python and C++. Collaborating with researchers and PMs to translate ideas into production systems. Improving efficiency and monitoring across live environments. Qualifications: Technically strong developer or quant engineer who enjoys building high performance systems.
