We are seeking an experienced SAP BOBJ/BW professional to join our team as a Tier 2 AMS Support specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) and Business Warehouse (BW) with a focus on providing high quality support and solutions to our clients. This role requires a proactive approach to problem solving and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Responsibilities
Provide Tier 2 support for SAP BOBJ and BW applications, ensuring timely resolution of issues and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues related to SAP BOBJ and BW, providing effective solutions and recommendations.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement enhancements to existing systems.
Develop and maintain documentation for support processes, system configurations, and user guides.
Monitor system performance and conduct regular health checks to ensure optimal operation of SAP BOBJ and BW environments.
Participate in system upgrades, patches, and migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Provide training and support to end users, enhancing their understanding and utilization of SAP BOBJ and BW tools.
Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices to continuously improve support processes.
Mandatory Skills
Proven experience with SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) and Business Warehouse (BW).
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with SAP HANA and other SAP analytics tools.
Experience with data modeling and ETL processes.
Knowledge of SQL and database management.
Understanding of business processes and reporting requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
7-10 years of experience in SAP BOBJ and BW support roles.
Relevant SAP certifications are a plus.
