Job Description SAIC is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Engineer to support the Federal Aviation Commission’s (FAA) NEXTGEN portfolio of programs. The successful candidate will provide support to various groups within the FAA's ANG-C directorate, coordinating and developing products for the NAS Life Cycle Planning division manager, performing technical and quality assurance reviews of products to ensure alignment, assisting with status reporting and preparation of briefings, conducting research, evaluations, analyses, and studies, and presenting technical recommendations and solutions to meet short‑ and long‑term project and program planning requirements.
Qualifications
A Bachelor of Science degree or higher in an engineering discipline
Minimum of 10+ years of related experience with FAA NAS systems
Excellent writing and communications/presentation skills
Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to interact positively with multiple customers
Experience using MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Power BI)
Ability to interface and communicate with multiple customers on a daily basis
US citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
Target salary range:
$120,001 – $160,000 (based on experience and other factors)
