They’re seeking a
Mechanical Engineer
to help design and build the next generation of robotic lab automation systems. You’ll take ownership of mechanical design, prototyping, testing, and iteration — turning ideas into robust, production‑ready hardware.
This is a full‑time, onsite position in San Francisco.
Key Responsibilities
Design, analyze, and iterate on mechanical systems and components
Develop detailed CAD models and manufacturing drawings
Prototype and test robotic hardware in real‑world lab settings
Create solutions for precise manipulation of lab instruments and tools
Key Requirements
Strong mechanical intuition and hands‑on engineering skills
Experience designing, assembling, and debugging complex hardware
Proficiency with CAD tools and mechanical design best practices
Comfort working in a fast‑paced, experimental environment
BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent experience
Nice‑to‑Have
Experience with PLM systems and document control
Background in mechatronics, robotics, or motion control
Familiarity with robot arms, sensors, or lab automation
Programming experience with robotic systems
Seniority level Mid‑Senior level
