Overview
Are you a child/teen-focused Testing Psychologist passionate about providing thorough, practical, and understandable evaluations? Are you seeking the flexibility of a private practice but the collegiality, mentorship, and resources of an established clinic? If so, you may be an excellent addition to our dynamic team of Licensed Psychologists (PSY or LEP). Responsibilities include conducting psychological examinations and testing, as well as diagnosing, recommending treatment, and educational supports for child, teen, and young adult clients. You'll work with a wide range of clients, including those with learning differences, ADHD, Autism, Giftedness/2E, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues, to help them (and their parents) chart a path forward. Responsibilities
Provide psychological, neuropsychological, and developmental assessments, including Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs) to youth ages 5+ Ensure patients receive appropriate resources by referring them to outside therapists, clinics, and other treatment facilities Attend school meetings and provide follow-up parent consultations to support prior clients Participate in twice-monthly in-house team meetings and case consultations See at least two clients per month, with each evaluation requiring 40–50 hours of clinical time initially, decreasing as you learn our systems Be available to test in person at least eight days per month on a regular schedule Complete interviews, feedback, and report writing remotely on a flexible schedule Discuss additional day‑to‑day tasks during the interview process Qualifications
Current state license to practice in the state you practice, issued by the ASPPB (Association of State and Provincial Licensing Boards) Licensed Psychologist (PSY) or Licensed Educational Psychologist (LEP) and licensed or license‑eligible in California Doctoral degree in Clinical, School, or Educational Psychology or a related field from an APA‑accredited program, or a Master’s in School Psychology with additional clinical training and assessment At least two (2) years of experience providing psychoeducational, developmental, and/or neuropsychological evaluations for children, teens, and/or adults with developmental, learning, attention, social‑cognitive, and emotional issues Exceptional analytical, communication, and observational skills Strong interest and experience in one or more of the following: Autism assessments; Giftedness/2E assessments; Developmental assessments for preschool‑aged children; College/young adult assessments and/or Independent Educational Evaluations; Knowledge of current assessment measures and practices; Experience collaborating with elementary, middle, and high schools; Bilingual language skills are a plus Compensation and Benefits
Compensation:
$140,000–$180,000 per year Full benefits package, including paid sick leave for all employees, health insurance for full‑time employees, and a 401(k) with matching for employees who have been with the company for at least a year.
