Job Summary
The Anesthesia Technician is an integral member of the anesthesia patient care team who works under the Department of Anesthesiology to assist anesthesia providers in various settings by providing support for routine surgical cases. The technician prepares and maintains patient equipment and anesthesia delivery systems before, during, and after anesthesia. The Anesthesia Technician reports to the Sr Director, Surgical Services and the Director of Anesthesiology. Responsibilities
Assist the anesthesiologist/CRNA/Resident as requested within scope of practice. Assist with anesthesia case set up and clean OR carts. Perform simple maintenance on anesthesia equipment and ensure equipment and supplies are present and up to date. Maintain knowledge of equipment cleaning, storage, and use. Communicate and troubleshoot anesthesia delivery systems and monitoring equipment. Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years experience in a hospital operating room preparing and maintaining anesthesia equipment and supplies. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to communicate in English (oral and written). Location:
