Ambulatory Nurse Coordinator Urology (RN)

Position Overview The Ambulatory Nurse Coordinator will coordinate the operations of designated ambulatory practice(s) associates. They will supervise clinical and support staff, provide direct patient care and assist physicians with patient care. The Ambulatory Nurse Coordinator will develop, implement, and maintain operational policies and procedures in consultation with physicians and director of the Urology Department.
Key Responsibilities
Develop goal/objectives for the work group to contribute to the achievement of the MWHC business strategy.
Address roadblocks to achieving established goals and objectives.
Coordinate the day-to-day patient flow of designated ambulatory practices. Adjust schedules/patient appointments to meet changing priorities due to severity of patients' needs.
Work with physicians and staff to minimize patient wait time.
Supervise clinical and support staff. Establish work schedules, make daily assignments, delegate, and assign duties/responsibilities. Interview, hire, evaluate performance, promote, and discipline staff in conjunction with the Medical and Administrative Director.
Monitor and control the unit's budget in consultation with the physicians and the Administrative Director. Forecast activities and costs.
Procure and manage unit equipment, instrumentation, supplies, etc. Evaluate and recommend new equipment and instruments.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
Active DC RN License.
3 or more years of progressively more responsible job-related nursing and medical office practice experience, preferably in a multiple physician practice.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities Primary duties and responsibilities include overseeing patient flow, coordinating schedules, supervising staff, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with operational policies.
Minimum Qualifications Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in nursing, an active DC RN License, 3+ years of nursing experience, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and proficiency in ambulance care coordination.
Compensation This position has a hiring range of $102,606 - $196,996.
