Shifts 5:30a 3:30p, 10a 9p, 2p 1a, 8p 6a
Description
Patient volume: 135/day; common cases include chest pain, abdominal pain, trauma, ortho injuries, pediatrics, shortness of breath, and pregnancy-related issues
Procedures: Intubation, central line, chest tube, fracture/joint reductions, conscious sedation, cardioversion, FAST ultrasound exams, and more
Support: RNs, LPNs, techs, RTs, plus 2 APPs per shift (except late overnight/early morning)
Trauma level: Level III (with Level I trauma surgeon support as needed)
Orientation: 2 4 hour site orientation and EMR training (if needed)
