The Gist Our Case Analyst supports compliance and law enforcement activities related to petitioning and approved institutions. Responsibilities include conducting open-source research to inform federal adjudication decisions, reviewing petitions in the SEVIS database, and maintaining accurate records in SEVIS and Microsoft Dynamics 365. The position also involves collecting and recording data, developing decision support materials, managing administrative tasks such as meeting prep and email support, and responding to SEVP Response Center inquiries to provide petition status updates and guidance.

Support the team as they conduct compliance and law enforcement actions for petitioning and approved institutions

Conduct open‑source analysis to guide federal adjudicative decisions

Conduct review of Initial, Update, and Recertification Petitions in government database SEVIS

Update and maintain all records in the government database and Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM) database

Collect and record data and develop decision support content, services, or products

Provide general administrative support for multiple tasks that include but are not limited to meeting preparations and email management support

Respond to inquiries from the SEVP Response Center to provide status updates and/or guidance on pending petitions in SEVIS

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree + 2 years of relevant experience

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook

Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
