Sales Director – DHL Channel
ITW Residential and Renovation Construction provides industry‑leading fasteners and fastening solutions that deliver superior productivity and reliability to professional remodelers and residential framers.
Position Summary We are seeking an accomplished Sales Director to set the strategy and continue to drive profitable growth for the DHL (Distributors, Hardware & Lumberyards) channel, aligned to the division’s strategic intent. This leader holds the responsibility to drive account management and revenue realization, and deliver outstanding customer service through a high‑performing team.
Core Responsibilities
Drive/Exceed Revenue Targets aligned to division’s strategic intent, while maintaining/improving margins
Evaluate market trends and customer feedback to make strategic decisions that enable business growth via the annual plan and long‑range plan
Upgrade current capabilities around Strategic Sales Excellence, specifically: strategic change management to support Paslode growth; thoughtful end‑user engagement and specification pull; push/driving change on any stale 80 partnerships
Effectively launch new Customer Back Innovations into the channel and ensure effective commercialization, supporting division’s long‑range CBI targets
Support customer service excellence with a focus on the 80’s
Pressure test and evolve current talent, structure, & incentive to align with Divisional LRP goals and sustain above market growth and share‑gain in 80 growth segments
Build a diverse, high‑performing organization
Key Skills & Experience
Prior experience as a national‑level sales/commercial leader with distribution sales management across multiple channels
Track record of implementing a sales process and capability building with measurable improvement in outcomes
Results‑oriented business leader who anticipates business needs and risks and drives action planning to meet or exceed financial goals
Demonstrated ability to cultivate customer relationships across multiple departments and at executive levels
Track‑record of driving pull for premium branded products
Strong leadership, talent development and building followership
Comfortable leading, coaching and developing high‑performance remote teams across multiple locations
Ability to challenge status quo and drive thoughtful change focused on the 80’s
Degree in management, business, marketing, sales or equivalent
Must be able to travel 40‑50% of the time
