The current opening is with SIU however, you may be considered for another vessel within Crowley; which might require transitioning to a different union. Required Skills

Minimum Qualifications and Credentials

MMC - Basic Training VPDSD Required STCW Endorsements and Training Designated Duty Engineer STCW Medical Certificate TWIC badge - Not to expire within three months Valid Passport - Not to expire within six months Preferred Qualifications and Credentials

Third Assistant Engineer or Above Electro-Technical Officer Caterpillar, ABB, and Corvus electrical equipment experience Required Experience

Minimum Experience

Proven experience serving as an Engineer aboard towing vessels Strong working knowledge of electronically controlled engines and modern control systems Skilled in diagnosing and repairing shipboard systems, including main engines, propulsion systems, generators, hydraulics, pumps, and electrical components Working knowledge in Windows computer Safety-conscious self-starters with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with crew members Committed to high standards of craftsmanship and vessel maintenance; consistently upholding company expectations Pay Rate
