The CPO will be a strategic advisor and partner to the Chief Administrative and Financial Officer and executive leadership, driving a comprehensive people strategy that strengthens organizational culture, advances workforce planning, and ensures institutional alignment with VAI's bold mission. The Chief People Officer will play a pivotal role in the success of VAI ONE, the Institute's aspirational culture initiative designed to foster collaboration, innovation, and resilience across its scientific and educational community. Responsibilities
Lead a comprehensive people strategy that aligns with VAI's scientific, educational, and operational goals. Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, development, and retention. Guide the design of programs that reinforce an inclusive, purpose‑driven, and high‑performing culture. Provide executive oversight of total rewards strategy and workforce well‑being initiatives.
