Base Pay Range $276,768.00/yr - $287,281.00/yr

Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia and anesthesia related care to facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic and/or surgical procedures to all patients regardless of age under the medical direction of an anesthesiologist.

Prepare preoperative assessments including health histories and physical examinations.

Develop the Anesthesia Care Plan with the anesthesiologist.

Initiate and maintain appropriate perioperative anesthesia care.

Maintain appropriate patient records including quality assurance documentation.

Complete postoperative evaluations in accordance with department policies.

Participate in ongoing projects.

Support perioperative providers.

Other duties or projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of a Masters degree from an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program.

Current, or ability to obtain, Michigan RN license and certification as a nurse anesthetist prior to hire.

Two years full time equivalent (FTE) nurse anesthesia experience in an Anesthesia Care Team model.

Current ACLS or PALS certification.

Wear appropriate PPE personal protective equipment due to radiation exposure.

Desired Qualifications

Five years of adult ICU nursing experience.

Demonstration of appropriate interpersonal and communication skills.

Doctoral degree from an accredited educational program.

Work Schedule Hours: 40 hours per week

Shift Requirements

Day/Evening/Night rotation; with other requirements as follows.

Weekday, Weekends, and holidays.

Variable shift start times and shift lengths.

Weekday call obligations.

Weekend and holiday call obligations.
