We are seeking a data scientist to join our team at DIA. The role supports warfighter operations, policy makers, and decision making through data science and analytics. Responsibilities
Work with complex data sets to solve real-world problems. Support the warfighter and policy makers with decision making. Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience designing, developing, operationalizing, and maintaining complex data applications 3+ years of experience with Python, Java, JavaScript, Rust, or PostgreSQL 2+ years of experience developing code for data manipulation, data analysis, or data modeling Experience creating and integrating code for retrieving, parsing, and processing data across multiple systems or applications Experience developing scripts and programs for converting various types of data into usable formats and supporting project teams to scale, monitor, and operate data platforms in support of specific mission goals Experience in the development of algorithms leveraging Python and SQL Experience with developing solutions incorporating Large Language Models Experience with Python data science and visualization packages Experience with leading the development of solutions to complex problems TS/SCI clearance with CI poly qinetiqclearedjob Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Preferred Qualifications
8+ years of experience in Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes 2+ years of experience with AI and ML implementation and development Experience with DevSecOps tools, including GitHub Experience working within the Intel Community Experience with database administration or data analytics Experience with structured and unstructured data Experience with a public cloud, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Experience with Streamlit, Tkinter Experience with Agile software development Company EEO Statement
