We are looking for a highly skilled and strategic Cloud Architect to design, implement, and optimize scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions in Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role plays a critical part in driving our cloud strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals while leveraging modern cloud technologies and best practices.

As a Cloud Architect, you’ll work cross‑functionally with engineering, security, DevOps, and business teams to architect systems that support our innovation, growth, and operational excellence. You’ll have a mix of hands‑on technical work and high‑level planning responsibilities in a fast‑paced, hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design and architect secure, scalable, and high‑performing cloud solutions using AWS services.

Evaluate business requirements and translate them into architectural designs and implementation plans.

Guide cloud infrastructure setup, including networking, compute, storage, security, and automation.

Develop and enforce cloud architecture standards, frameworks, and best practices.

Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate cloud‑native technologies, IaC (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation), and CI/CD pipelines.

Ensure systems are built with resiliency, observability, and cost‑efficiency in mind.

Lead cloud migration strategies and modernization initiatives for legacy systems.

Support governance, compliance, and security policies in cloud environments.

Provide mentorship and guidance to developers and IT operations staff on cloud architecture and services.

Required Qualifications

8+ years of IT experience, with at least 3+ years focused on cloud architecture (preferably in AWS).

Deep hands‑on experience with core AWS services such as EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, and more.

Strong background in system design, distributed systems, networking, and cloud security.

Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).

Strong understanding of CI/CD, DevOps principles, and container orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes/EKS).

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred

AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional)

Experience with multi‑account/multi‑region AWS environments

Familiarity with hybrid cloud and on‑premises integration

Exposure to monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Datadog, CloudWatch, ELK stack)

Salary: $167,032.32–$226,686.72
