Minimum qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with software development in C++.
Experience with cloud computing and distributed systems.
Preferred qualifications
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
Experience with service deployment, evaluation, performance monitoring, and testing.
Experience with Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), GKE Networking, and Istio.
Knowledge of Google's internal infrastructure, such as Boq, Perfgate, and Streamz.
Ability to collaborate with and support a team, and work cross‑functionally with various stakeholders.
Passion for developing expertise in high‑performance distributed systems.

Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain compute infrastructure (ML and graphics workloads) on our private and public cloud.
Design and implement tooling to serve internal and external customers.
Triage and debug challenging issues that arise during 3D calls.
Be an excellent teammate and cross‑functional collaborator.
Write high‑quality code in C++ and other languages to support Beam's cloud stack.
