About Us McPherson Medical and Surgical Associates is a well-established rural health clinic on the hospital campus. McPherson Hospital is licensed for 49 beds including Level IV Trauma. In addition to inpatient services the hospital offers state-of-the-art outpatient services including full radiology, respiratory care, laboratory, therapy, dietician, wound clinic, occupational health, and infusions.
Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated physician to provide high-quality family medicine and obstetric care. The ideal candidate will deliver prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum care, and collaborate closely with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive family medicine services, including acute and chronic care management.
Perform full spectrum obstetric care, including prenatal visits, labor, delivery, c‑sections, and postpartum follow‑up.
Participate in OB on‑call rotation with other dedicated delivery physicians.
Conduct routine health screenings and preventive services.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans and coordinate patient care.
Engage patients and families to promote health education and wellness initiatives.
Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with clinic policies and regulations.
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Family Medicine.
Completed an accredited Family Medicine residency with obstetrics training.
Current state medical license and DEA registration.
Strong clinical skills in both family medicine and obstetrics.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Commitment to rural healthcare and community involvement.
