Our client is a fast-growing, physician-founded healthtech startup on a mission to reinvent how healthcare is delivered in the United States. With over $35 million in Series A funding from top-tier investors including leading venture firms in AI and digital health, they’re building an AI-first medical practice that integrates human expertise with intelligent automation. Their platform enables clinicians to deliver near-instant, personalized, and high-quality care at scale — combining human judgment and cutting-edge AI systems to make healthcare more accessible and efficient for millions. Scale infrastructure and deployments to handle hundreds of thousands of patients with high reliability and low latency. Lead strategic infrastructure investments balancing scalability, maintainability, and speed of delivery. Design and implement core data systems — including data transformation, warehousing, and integration with external health information networks. Improve developer velocity by building tools, CI/CD pipelines, and observability frameworks. Drive reliability, monitoring, and on-call excellence while maintaining healthcare-grade security standards (HIPAA, SOC2). Example projects might include: Optimizing Kubernetes clusters for large-scale workloads. Migrating queue-based systems (e.g., SQS) to Temporal. Reimagining release and QA workflows to accelerate production deployments. Designing multi-tenant isolation and row-level encryption strategies for enterprise clients. Ideal Candidate Background
