As a Pharmacy Technician supporting our Pharmacy Services team, youll help ensure that our members get the medications and support they need, when they need it. Under the supervision of our pharmacists and clinical leaders, you'll: Review daily pharmacy claims data and reports to catch issues early and support quality improvement initiatives Prepare coverage determination and redetermination files for pharmacist and Medical Director review Conduct member outreach to assist with prescription access, copay questions, or ID card concerns Reach out to retail pharmacies and prescribers to troubleshoot prior authorizations and medication coverage Perform quality checks on formulary data before submission to CMS or NYS DOH Maintain organized data in tracking spreadsheets to support compliance and audit readiness Support the mission of VNS Health by helping close care gaps and improve medication outcomes for vulnerable populations Qualifications
Licenses and Certifications: NYS Pharmacy Technician Certificate required Education: High School Diploma or the equivalent required Work Experience: At least one year of pharmacy experience required Managed Care Experience preferred Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required Pay Range
