Glaucoma Consultants of Washington (GCW) is the go-to subspecialty practice in Northern Virginia, dedicated to the medical and surgical management of routine and complex glaucoma. We deliver academic‑quality care in a community‑based setting, supported by a strong MD/OD referral network (200+ providers).
Role We’re seeking an energetic, ethical comprehensive ophthalmologist (BC/BE) to join our growing team.
Glaucoma or Cornea fellowship training
will also be
considered
but
not required . Partnership track. No PE.

Clinical support:
EMA/Modernizing Medicine EMR with scribes
Teaching:
Ophthalmology resident teaching available (optional)
Surgery:
Local ASCs for routine cases; hospital access for complex cases
Technology (in‑house):
SLT, YAG, Argon & Diode lasers; ARGOS/IOLMaster; Humphrey & Octopus VFs; ORA; fundus photography; topography; Zeiss Cirrus OCT, specialty IOLS
MIGS access:
Femtosecond, Micropulse, and a range of MIGS/glaucoma implants available at our facilities

Excellent clinical judgment and surgical skills
Patient‑first, ethical care philosophy
Strong communication and team orientation
Interest in leadership and partnership over time
Compensation & Track
Competitive base salary (experience‑based) + productivity bonus
